Primary Purpose:

Serve as Chief administrator for all campuses in MISD and oversees the operations, teaching, and learning as well as oversees all principal supervisors. Supervise the implementation of campus improvement plans and campus leadership teams. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Board's policies while working within the boundaries of the executive limitations. Provide direction, supervision, and review of all aspects of educational programming for all campuses. This position works with, supervises, to actualize the district's vision for scholars success and achievement by incorporating best practice strategies and tools for innovation and the rigorous implementation of standards and effective instructional practice. Collaborate with other departments and leaders in the central office to provide and broker necessary resources and support to ensure campuses improve scholar achievement and academic outcomes for all scholars. Supervise and support Executive Directors/Principals in developing and sustaining systems and processes to address campus and scholar needs as well as to comply with local, state, and national rules, laws, and regulations, serving as a role model for all leadership responsibilities.

Experience:

Five years of successful administrative experience, including either five years as a principal or three years of supervisory experience overseeing principals and two years of other administrative experience
